2004 WORLD TANTRIX CHAMPIONSHIP - timetable & other info
Here is a timetable, a round-by-round list of deadlines & numbers of games per match and some notes about
a) the importance of ensuring that you can meet deadlines this year and b) when you can start a round early.

There is no leeway in the 2004 timetable. If you have limited availability in the period allowed for any round,
please find out which player/s you might meet in the NEXT round even before you have played your match
in the current round and arrange times to play each of them conditional on you both getting through.
Start dates, deadlines & numbers of games are shown below for each round in Phase 2:
R1 lasts 14 days, other 6-game rounds last 10 days each, the longer QFs/SFs/Final last 11 days each.
You can start a round up to 2 days earlier if your opponent is known. You can start even earlier if it is
likely to be very difficult to fit the game into the time allowed otherwise - please check with your AC first.

The Plate starts in early October. Open to all Prelim, R1 & R2 losers. Entry deadline Tue 28 Sep
if you lose before Phase 2 Round 2 or Thu 7 Oct if you lose in Phase 2 Round 2. You will play 5
games per match in the Plate, no tiebreaks, weekly deadlines, full details will appear elsewhere.

The two survivors from each R1 to R3 section of 16 players will play each other in R4

The winner of the section 1 R4 match will play the winner of the section 2 R4 match, etc
