The date for the 17th Swedish Open ''special edition'' is now decided: 7th November 2020.
The format will be an eight round swiss starting at 08:30 GMT (so that's 09:30 for the majority of us).
Time limits will be 20 minutes as per table tournaments and the rounds will start at the following times (gmt):
08:30 09:30 10:30 11:30 13:00 14:00 15:00 16:00
This will give us all a chance to get away from the screen if we so desire and a longer break after 4 rounds for some lunch.
https://discord.gg/hEFHp3r is the link to the Tantrix discord server which will be a good place for us all to "mingle" during the tournament. Please sign up! We will use the "announcement" text channel there to do formal announcements.
Please note: This will not be a normal offline table tournament! All games will be played online using the table mode functionality in the Tantrix lobby! Mistake penalties will not be applied. The tournament will not count towards the ELO ratings.
