Dates and Format
Who can enter: All players from all around the world from beginners to Masters.
Entries Close: 1st August.
Draw: To be advised, early August.
1st Phase/Group Phase: From early August to mid September, 35 - 40 days.
Depending on the number of entrants it will consist of groups of 4 to 7 players. There will be about 5 weeks to play against all them a match of 3 games. The top players of each group will qualify to the K.O.
K.O. Phase and Finals: From mid September to end November. 11 - 13 days for each stage of the competition.
It will start probably with L64 as in previous years. If the number of entrants allows it, there will be 32 Autoqualifiers. During the K.O. players will need to play 6 games (+ tiebreaks if needed) to qualify.
The Tournament should end by the 30th November.
PLATE TOURNAMENT:
This tournament includes a Plate competition for all those who were disqualified during the 1st Phase or L64. The registration for this tournament is by email invitation, once the players are out of the main competition. In the case that you want to enter but haven't received the invitation, please mail the OC controller.
FANTASY TANTRIX:
After last years success it is planned to have again a Fantasy Tantrix competition during the KO and Finals Phases.
