In its second edition in 2015, 26 players from 13 countries took part in the WWTC. After many exciting games the winner was fafa (Eva Radix)from the Netherlands. Second place went to Qalk (Carola Qalk) from Sweden and third place to pimboli (Eveline Fischer) from Switzerland.
The 2016 WWTC will take place at the same time as WTC. Therefore, deadlines will be bigger as usual to allow players play WTC, WWTC and later national championships simultaneously if they want.
Dates and Format
Who can enter: WOMEN ONLY
Entries Close: 31st July.
Draw: To Be Advised.
1st Phase/Group Phase: From early August to mid September.
It will consist of groups of 6 or 7 players and 6 weeks to play against all them a match of 3 games. The top 4 of each group will qualify to the K.O.
K.O. Phase/Finals: From mid September to November.
If it is like previous years it will start with L16. To qualify players should play 6 games (+ tiebreaks) in about 2 weeks.
Tournament should end by the end of November.
