The Games column gives the number of games to be played in each match. Games should be scored in tournament points, TPs. For example, in a 4 game match, once a player has 40.1 TPs or more, they have won the match. If this happens after 3 games, game 4 is optional. We encurage you to play it and it will be Elo rated if it is played.
If you do not complete a Round by the Deadline Date shown, you risk losing by default. If you have arranged a match for less than 4 days before the deadline, please let the controller for your section of the draw know. Exceptions to the deadlines will be made when people are on holiday and have informed the controller, tournaments@tantrix.co.uk, in advance, but if you will not be back until more than a couple of days after the deadline, you may have to make arrangements to play your match somewhere else, eg. at an Internet café, at the discretion of the controller.
In order to ensure that everyone moves through the tournament at a similar rate, you are encouraged to arrange matches on or after the Start Date for each Round. Of course, if you are going on holiday, please play matches early if necessary with the aim of finishing every Round which has a deadline date before the date when you are due to return home.
Notes:
Parties est le nombre de parties qui font un match en chaque Tour. Il faut employer le système de points de tournoi (TPs) pour déterminer le gagnant. Par exemple, au cours d'un match de 4 parties, un joueur qui marque 40.1 TPs ou plus aura gagné. Si ça se produit après 3 parties seulement, la 4ème partie n'est qu'une option mais si on la joue, le résultat comptera à la classification Elo.
Si vous ne finissez pas un Tour avant la Date Limite, vous risquerez de perdre par défaut. Si vous coordonnez un match pour moins de 4 jours avant la date limite, veuillez informer le contrôleur. Vous pouvez jouer quelques jours après la date limite si vous n'êtes pas chez vous auparavant et que vous avez prévenu le contrôleur, tournaments@tantrix.co.uk, en avance, mais si vous ne serez pas chez vous avant quelques jours après la date limite, il faudra peut-être trouver un cybercafé pour pouvoir jouer.
Pour que tout le monde avance à une vitesse assez pareille, on vous encourage de coordonner que les matchs aient lieu après la Date de Commencement de chaque Tour. Évidemment, si vous irez en vacances, veuillez coordonner les matchs plus tôt, pour essayer de jouer tous les Tours qui ont une date limite avant votre date de rentrée prévue.
