Dates and Format
Who can enter: All players from all around the world from beginners to Masters.
Entries Close: 9th August.
Draw: 19th August.
1st Phase/Group Phase: From mid August to mid September. Deadline: Wednesday 27th September.
The format for Phase 1 will be decided depending on the number of entrants. Last year there were 8 groups of 5-6 players. You have to play 3 games against each opponent. The top 3 players from each group qualify into the K.O. Top 1 goes directly to L32 while top 2 and 3 must play L16.
K.O. Phase and Finals: From mid September to end November.
It will start with L32 as in previous years. During the K.O. players will need to play 6 games (+ tiebreaks if needed) to qualify.
L32 Deadline: Tuesday 10th October
L16 Deadline: Monday 23rd October
L8 Deadline: Sunday 5th November
L4 Deadline: Saturday 18th November
L2 Deadline: Thursday 30th November
PLATE TOURNAMENT:
This tournament includes a Plate competition for all those who do not advance during the 1st Phase or the L32. The registration for this tournament is by email invitation, once the players are out of the main competition. In the case that you want to enter but haven't received the invitation, please mail the OC controller.
FANTASY TANTRIX:
After last years success it is planned to have again a Fantasy Tantrix competition during the KO and Finals Phases.
