No. 8 seed Josh Button, 23, from Penrith NSW has become the second Australian Tantrix Champion with an emphatic 79.5-40.5 win in the Final against no. 7 seed and Group B winner Graeme Jolliffe, 29, from Lawson NSW. Josh only came 3rd in Group A but improved markedly in the KO phase. He won the first five games in the Final, having also fended off top seed and runaway Group A winner Leah Sanders (QLD) in the SFs. Funnily enough, as in this year's European Championship, the 3/4 place playoff is a family affair between Leah and her husband Anthony Sanders. We are very grateful to Kevin Scott (GBR) for controlling this often difficult tournament.
