No. 4 seed Steven Trezise (GBR) beat unseeded Franky Heyer (FRA) in the Final to become the first British winner of the title, Franky having been the only player to dent the UK domination of the knockout phase this year. No. 2 seed Kevin Scott (GBR) ensured that after a tournament full of shocks, two of the top four seeds finished in the top three when he beat his wife Marion to come 3rd. There were no less than 61 entrants from 11 countries, of whom 56 from 10 countries played at least one game with 53 playing all of their games. 21 of last year's 25 entrants returned, including reigning champion Ben Polman (NED) and all of the quarter-finalists. The 56 entrants who played games in the tournament came from the following 10 countries and the List of Entrants now shows each player's group position, with a link to the results page for that group.
