All of the controllers are (obviously) unpaid volunteers (well, ok, Mike and Britta make a living from Tantrix, but not specifically from this) - so please don't make our lives too difficult unnecessarily! ;-)
The main WTC controller is steven2, email address tournaments@tantrix.co.uk. All emails relating to the tournament should be directed to him in the first instance.
However, there are some assistant controllers. If there is a dispute and a player does not accept the main controller's decision (or if the dispute involves steven2 himself), up to three assistant controllers furthest in the draw from the match concerned (and unrelated to either of the players) will be used to form an appeal tribunal to resolve the dispute.
In addition, when any of the assistant controllers are in the lobby, they will be happy to help out if you have problems or to sort out minor disputes on the spot. Please be patient if they are playing a game themselves - it might even be a tournament game. You should respect their decisions, though of course you also have the right to appeal afterwards, initially to me by email, if you disagree with them.
Three of the controllers are happy for you to try to contact them by ICQ in an 'emergency' - the numbers are shown below. steven2 is most likely to be online between 10.00 & 18.00 GMT, the other two at various times between about 21.00 & 14.00 GMT.

I am still waiting for two replies from potential controllers, so they may appear here later.
The primary criteria for choosing controllers were their knowledge of the tournament rules and their usual willingness to help people in the lobby.
If you would like to be an assistant controller too (we may yet need one or two more), you will have to satisfy these criteria and, of course, never have been even suspected of cheating in any way while playing in the lobby. In addition, given the distribution of controllers at the moment, preference is likely to be given to people in the bottom half of the draw and to those who have already been knocked out of the main draw.
